Emily Conway, class of 2004, European Operations Manager ZEUS Scooters

I graduated from Mount Anville in 2004 and after completing my business degree and masters in management consultancy, I took off to New York on a 1 year J1 graduate visa. Within a month of arriving, I started a job as an intern in a corporate travel company, eventually becoming an operations manager within that same company. What was meant to be a one year stay turned into seven amazing years in New York. In 2016, I made the tough decision to move home but luckily I continued working for my US based company but moved into a project management role , which I loved.

In October 2020, I started a new role as European Operations Manager for an Irish owned start up called Zeus Scooters.  Zeus is an Irish company deploying the World’s first 3-wheeled electric scooter for the urban mobility sharing market. Currently we have launched in 8 German cities, with many more in the pipeline.

After starting in Mount Anville at the age of 4, I was so sad leaving the school I had loved every minute of attending. So I am thrilled to be a part of the MAPPA committee, it’s wonderful to see the sense of community among the past pupils and the willingness to help and support each other.  I look forward to many more years of being involved with MAPPA.
